Our Vision
American Arrowhead is the place to buy your reproduction art arrowheads. Let us take a moment to tell you more about American Arrowhead. This site has been created to share our family passion for everything arrowheads and artifacts. Our fascination was sparked by the find of authentic points made by early man. We were so proud of the first crude flint points that led us to build our business.

Knapping process and techniques
1. Select a quality material including but not limited to; flint, chert, obsidian and glass.
2. Remove large flakes from the core material using hand hammer percussion; working toward a flat and thin preform.
3. Remove smaller flakes to form a biface arrowhead.
4. The arrowhead is pressure flaked and formed into the final design.
